Summer Skin Care Routing - Oily Skin

Don't you just dread the long summer heat? I know I do. Because like most of us, the heat makes our skin oily. And oily skin causes acne breakouts.

Summer Skin Care Tips:

1. Drink plenty of water.

2. Blot your face daily with oil remover wipes.

3. Wear SPF 30 minimum sunscreen.

4. Wear light makeup during the summer months. Too much of makeup will clog your pores in the summertime and make your face break out.

5. I know that you don't want to mess up your "fresh beat" (fresh makeup on your skin), but you need to limit your time in the sun. That is, try not to let the sun hit your face as much. Wear sunshades or a hat to prevent the sun from shining directly on your face.

6. Take your vitamin C supplements or eat strawberries, kiwi or oranges.

7. Purchase the Biotin supplement that has Collagen in it.

8. Moisturize your skin. Use skin moisturizers in place of the heavy makeup.

9. Instead of lipstick, you can wear tinted lip gloss or lip balms that contain SPF.

10. Keep the grease or oil that you put in your hair to a minimum because your skin breathes what you put into your hair. This will also make your skin oily. Use hair moisturizer in your hair during the summertime instead of hair oil.

11. Get your beauty rest, "sleep."

12. Exfoliate your skin.

13. Mist your face with rose water. This is a popular skin care trend.
