Stress Relieving Tips






Tips for relieving stress:


1. Yoga. Not only does this relieve stress but it also maintains your metabolism, tones and strengthen your muscles, helps with weight loss, good for your heart, and it improves your athletic performance.

2. Take a brisk walk in the park or in your neighborhood. Not only is walking good for your heart and weight loss, but it also relieves stress. When taking your walk listen to your favorite music. Maybe some soothing music with the sounds of nature playing on your headset. 

3. Listen to music. I love to listen to Jazz Music when I am feeling stressed. It calms my soul ;-). Listening to your favorite artist or music period will change your mood. Studies show that when you listen to music while you work, it enhances your performance. Why do you think some employers play music while their employees work?

4. Meditate. You need to be in the room alone without any distractions. Turn off everything...including your cellphone. Put the kids to bed honey. It's mommy's time to relax.

5. Take a day off from work and do what you love doing? On my off days, I like to treat myself to dinner and a movie. Keyword: Yourself. No one else is needed for your special day. You could even go get your hair and nails done if this relaxes you. Girl talk at the salon. 

6. Laughter is one of the cures for stress. Whenever I am stressed out, I like to watch stand-up comedy. There is nothing like a good laugh.
